School Social Worker

Location: Middle School – Naperville, IL
Dates: ASAP – Winter Break 2025
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite
Compensation: $45–$55 per hour

About the Role

This Middle School in Naperville is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to provide FMLA coverage through Winter Break 2025. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive middle school community and collaborate with educators and families to promote student well-being and success.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students in grades 6–8

• Participate in IEP meetings and complete required documentation

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs

• Support crisis intervention and restorative practices as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Prior middle school experience preferred
